Dot Auguste was the first born to Gladys Gailes Auguste of Opelousas, Louisiana. She graduated from Holy Ghost Catholic High School in 1958 then continued her education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dot is now a retired school teacher from St. Landry Parish after 40 years of teaching. She serves as Head Sacristan and as an Extra-ordinary Minister of Holy Communion.
